Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Play!
If you enjoy a beverage from time to time, leave your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your wallet, and keep all cash, charge cards and cheques at home. Pack whatever cash you intend to use on refreshments, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to squander and keep the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not really. Realistic more like. You may well have a profit after a drunken night out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to catch a marathon roll at a hot craps table. Hang on to that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and gamble. The pair simply do not go well together.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a little drastic, but preventative actions for drastic actions is a requirement. If you gamble to profit, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to blow your assets nary a concern, then consume all the complimentary booze your stomach can handle, but do not take credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your drunken brain squanders every little thing!
Let me to carry this a single step further. Don’t drink and then head on the net to gamble in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my condominium, however seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.
Why? Even though I don’t consume alcohol a lot, when I drink, it is clearly sufficient to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. Both make for a ferocious, and expensive, cocktail.
